Was supposed to have an appointment at 5 at the Tampines Modern Beauty Salon...the link was that a few mths back, my clique of galz, were working with me...they noticed the booth...and the promotion...so we all signed up together...as Jeanie, Amy and I were at Jalan Bukit Merah, we were sure to be late...Shan was late too...we all met at 5.40+...this is what happened...
Upon our arrival, a female staff was present...i'm not too sure if she greeted us...anyway...upon hearing tt we were all gonna claim our respective packages, she said tt the reservation was for one...and at the most, even if we had called, only two can go at a time!
Its pretty ridiculous...and only after we started thinking abt wad to do and asked if we could change to another day did she take the initiative to look thru the appointment list...she din offer a single alternative at all...ttz the worse mistake...and i was appalled to see that she was the manager...her attitude was absolutely non-chalent...her command of English no different from that of a kid studying in pre-school. Whats worse, not a single apology...darn...maybe i should focus on Spa and Resort management...i guess TP's HTM course has taught me to expect more from the finer things of like...wahaha...
We left totally upset...for we had planned to enjoy and just relax together...walked ard TM and CS...saw a fellow female contestant, Ashley...yup...if i'm not wrong, she wishes to study HTM too!
Er...hung arg real long b4 going to BK for dinner...had a good time goofing ard...throwing fries, talking abt totally nonsensical matters...like which animal looks good with rebonded hair ( fur or whatever it should be )... imagine a lion's mane being rebonded! The lioness will freak out and treat him like another lioness maybe?
Met Jen and passed her my disgustingly painted shoes...yes...i used them for the photoshoot...weird eh...well...i had no other black shoes!
Darn...hope u'll be able to do smth abt it gal!
Headed home...and...chatted till late with my friends...some going through pretty tough times...chins up ppl!
Lets strike back at unhappiness!
Thursday
Was supposed to go ice -skating with Shan and Amy...but we were short of one person...and wen i called them, it was already getting late!
Stayed home and watch VCD's...if i'm not wrong...they belong to Lester...sorry dude!
Found them somewhere in my room...the storyline is abt a famous star who meets a simple girl who doesn't know who he is initially...they get married and how he manages his double life is hilarious!
But according to my sis, it was shown on Channel 8 years ago...gosh...i'm slow eh...met Maddie, Alice, Charlotte and Jacq in sch at ard 5...prayed and had some sharing...
Training started at 6...pretty disappointed tt Gabriel, Altaff and Farid can't train...they have injuries...darn...at least out for a mth...i hope to see them back with us soon!
But its really a joy to see them turning up...and of course...with bubble tea in mind rite!
Today's drills...were ok...except for the last part...
I guess my lack of stamina and muscle mass accounts for the fact tt i can't run as fast...though its ard 16-17s for 120m, its still not a good timing wen the rest are able to average 13-14s?
I wish to push harder...was on the brink of giving up...but i prayed and wanted to do it for God...and i did...even ran 2 rounds to cool down...hey Ai Ping...i guess i know what its like...its different when you do it for God...
Well..after our regular fix of bubble tea...i walked home...and once i reached home...bugged my siblings...felt so blessed...so blissful...if only i can feel this way, and switch to it wenever i'm down...i love my bro and my sis...they're precious to me...in the past...my ego was in the way, preventing me from caring for them...now...they've grown up...but not tt old...so i guess i can still show lotsa love to them...before long, they'll start thinking i'm gay i guess...haha...but NO way...i'm straight like a rod.
Shall be hitting the beach tomorrow!
